Since the release of her latest recording , Jana Leigh has been busy with the filming of her new music video to the song she wrote called , “Angel on the Wing”. The song Angel On The Wing is the true story of how she met her husband /pilot Jim McWhorter while training to become a wing walker .T he two were married at Bealeton Virginia's Flying Circus Air Show in June of 2005. On any given Sunday, you can find this brave young woman suspended from the wing of a 1942 Stearman Biplane. She courageously captivates audiences with her breath taking wing walking routine in which she uses no tether line or parachute. She is one of only seven women wing walkers in the world today. “I've always have had a strong sense of adventure”, says the fun loving blue eyed blonde. “Wing walking is one of the craziest things I do , but it's definitely the most fun. I love being on the top wing of the biplane looking down on creation. God speaks to me up there. It's really more of a “spiritual high” for me. This Nashville recording artist has been writing songs since the age of five when her mother got her a little keyboard at a local thrift shop. “I remember writing songs for my mom who was and continues to be my biggest fan. Although my mother hates the fact that I wing walk , she loves my music. I remember as a little girl she would sing to me all the time. I especially loved bath time because she would make up little songs and have me sing them along with her ". Entertaining crowds has come naturally for this talented woman for the past twenty years. “My song writing keeps getting better and better.” Her song, "Inside the Circle" talks about her pursuit of the Opryland circle and there's no doubt this amazing lady will someday entertain crowds there as well. “I'm really looking forward to going back to Nashville to record some new material”, says the Northern Virginia resident. Jana Leigh McWhorter is a native of Pennsylvania and is the youngest of four children. She believes her talent is God breathed and that this gift of music was given to her to sustain her through her difficult childhood years.
